Loft Policies
1. A non-refundable room fee for in-house catering is as follows:
If you wish to use a caterer other than The Rafters an additional $100
will be applied to the room fee. This must be paid in order to secure the date
of your event.
2. Half of the estimated amount of your final bill must be paid 72
hours prior to your event. The remaining balance, including any additional
charges must be paid by the end of your event.
3. The final count must be received no later that 7 business days. If the
guest count drops within the 7 business days you will be charged for the
initial final count. If the count increases we will do all we can to
accommodate, but substitutions may be necessary. We understand that last minute
things do happen so to unsure that your event is successful this information is
crucial for proper ordering and preparing.
4. Sales tax of 6.75% and a gratuity charge of 18% will be applied to the
bill.
5. Banquet pricing is guaranteed for 30 days only prior to the event.
Otherwise changes may be made with notification to the contact person.
6. The buffet options are not available to groups of 30 or less due to
the mass production of food prepared for a minimal amount of guest.
7. If your event has plated meals with multiple choices, we require that
there only be a selection of 3, all being served with the same vegetable and
starch. We also require that there is a card or seating chart to identify which
guest gets which meal. Food is to be served at agreed time, any delay will
effect the quality for the meal *All steaks must be the same temperature, if
not specified they will be cooked medium. We do not guarantee medium well to
well done steaks.
8. All decorations must be approved by The Rafters. We do not allow party
favors such as glitter, champagne poppers, silly string, confetti,
etc. There are no nails, screws, duct tape, or tacks, and any candles must
be contained in something, no exposure.
9. There is a fee of $75.00 fee for a bartender for parties of 50 or
less.
Under-aged drinking is a great concern for The Rafters. The person who is
liable for this contract will also be responsible for assisting the enforcement
of under-aged drinking or any other illegal actions or their guest. If there is
a continuous problem, we reserve the right to shut down the bar at any time. If
a keg has been purchased, pitchers of beer are not allowed to leave to bar
under any circumstance.
